Akiho Yoshizawa: learning and teaching cooking

How an interest developed into classes beginning in March 2021.

Learning before teaching

After leaving adult film, Yoshizawa attended cooking and breadmaking classes. In her 2020 interview she mentioned making ciabatta. She began offering her own cooking classes in March 2021.

Recipes for another day at home

She described developing recipes based on ordinary home cooking, covering both Japanese and Western dishes. She wanted participants to cook again at home, so she aimed for accessible methods. Each main dish also required several accompanying dishes.

Working alongside participants

In her 2022 interview she spoke about the lively atmosphere of cooking together. She enjoyed seeing participants improve their knife skills and ask what to do next. The classes gave her a different way to spend time with an audience.
